Treatment systems
- Furnace gases are cleaned of dust and sulphur oxides in bag filters and a scrubber.
- Battery electrolyte is neutralised; process water runs in a closed loop.
- Slag and other waste go to licensed contractors.
- Raw material is stored in closed warehouses with concrete floors.

Occupational safety
